Rob's Bio

Rob is a Native New Yorker who grew up in the New York Music Scene, but relocated to  DC. He has worked with Gary Setzer, The Inkspots, The Shangri-Las, The Elegants, The Jive Five, The Dubs, The Del Vikings, The Regents, The Mc Coys, Del Shannon, as well as members of  The Stray Cats, Santana, Steely Dan, The Blackbyrds, Mongo Santamaria, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Spyrogyra, The Belmonts, The Earls, Vito and The Salutations, The Eternals, and Uriah Heep.

He holds a Bachelor's degree from CW Post College and a Master's from Hofstra University.  Needless to say, Rob's a good reader.

Current equipment includes a Walter Woods 1200 Watt Head, Euphonic Audio CXL112, and Epifani T112 Cabinets, MTD Fretted and Fretless 6 String Contrabasses, 5 string hand carved  Upright Contrabass,  and Vintage Blonde Kay M1B Upright Bass .  And Yes - The Perls keep a car, so Rob is available for any Tri-State area gig.

Rob is  available for teaching and performing in the Washington DC Area. 

Rob performs on Upright, as well as six-string Electric and Fretless Bass. He's available for all styles of music - from Hard Rock to Classical.
